Art aid.

At a meeting with children from the Frunze Center for Youth and Family I said that I want to talk about the “art” aid.

One boy raised his hand and asked: "Is this where the artillery helps to fight?"

No - it is to support through art. The word "Art" from the English means “craft”.

However, the boy said what first came to his mind. Unfortunately, some of these children have already experienced the horrors of war.

One mother told me, despite the fact that they left the territory where the war raged, her child has once waken up at night and cried, because he thought the thunder was the artillery shots.

I remembered the news story. They showed the boy of 6 years old. He is able to determine the caliber shells by the fragments.

Therefore, it is extremely important to these children to support them through the arts.

By these meetings, children can develop their imagination, they get acquainted with the world of art, and create something by their own. That raises their self-esteem, discovers their creative talents, but also gives a huge positive charge, which makes these children stronger to pass their daily challenges.

Moreover, when these children hear the word "Art" next time, they shouldn't think first about the artillery.

Today's lesson held by Irina was a great thing for children.

They have learned how to mix colors and achieve the desired effect. Afterwards they created their own paintings with a new technique "la prima".

At the end as usually, we had lunch, tea, and shared gifts.
